Astaxanthin Microalgae is a powerhouse antioxidant and one of nature’s most potent antioxidants that are 40x stronger than β-carotene and 1,000x stronger than vitamin E by giving it the tremendous ability to reduce free radicals. Astaxanthin has powerful ultraviolet light-absorbing properties to act as a sunscreen. In addition, other benefits include free radical scavenging, mitochondrial protection, anti-inflammatory effects, and protection from glycation. Astaxanthin is a thick, pungent, and strongly colored ingredient. This Astaxanthin is diluted in virgin organic argan oil to make it easier to use.
